不是隐喻，已经是声嘶力竭的明喻了。用力过猛，没有举重若轻的感觉，好的黑色喜剧不是这样。真的从头到尾，一丁点都笑不出来。
克制到极致的压抑情绪缓缓流淌，精雕细琢般的镜头处理，细节略有设计感，但埋的很精美。浓郁粗犷的西部氛围，在弦乐的加持下，神秘且不安。本以为重心在同性题材，却在结束后陡然发现所有的线牵起的终点是如此暗潮汹涌，以至于再回头去细细品味那些细枝末节，都多了一层独特气质，就像凝望一头困兽深邃的眼神。

总体我是喜欢这种压着的氛围和表达的。不过，撇开手法，从电影本身出发，这种压抑和文艺的展现会使动机不足，也会使爱恨情仇在戏剧张力不明显的前提下变得略显浅薄。当然，这是因为我没看过小说。
冗长、沉闷、无趣的一个故事，套了个西部的外壳。
爱可以救人，也可以摧残一个人，既如刀剑般锋利，也如阳光般温煦。
这部电影深刻地揭示了一个道理：peer review是多么多么多么重要！

莫名觉得整体气质贴近《呼啸山庄》，尤其是家庭内部权力关系的微妙制衡，以及人性的冷漠与自私——被恶犬撕咬灵魂的受害者同时也是恶犬本身。没有荒原凄厉的风，明晃晃的阳光更让人胆寒。
除了风景优美，真是太莫名其妙的片子了！所有的感情的产生，故事的转折，人物的变化全都莫名其妙！！而且卷福的演技真的很一般啊，没有一部片子他没有用力过猛。

以前一直不懂卷福帅在哪里，这部片get到了。坎皮恩的功力还是深厚的，看得很舒服，然后地主给新婚老婆搬钢琴那段是致敬自己的成名作么😄……
如果所有的蠢和恶都像丑角一样浮于表面，这个世界哪至于如此糟糕？
这大气磅礴的运镜，细腻沉着内敛的气质，剧本的留白，一看就是大师气质，又是一部为奥斯卡量身定制的电影。卷福太惨，咎由自取，交心就是交命，以后对边缘群体可以防备，但还是多一些尊重吧。引用这届奥斯卡最火的一句话：At your highest moment, be careful, that's when the devil comes for you。共勉。
