The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 如果你是不喜歡黑暗抑鬱題材的人，這部電影可能就不適合你看了，因為影片的氛圍和劇情讓人看完內心衝擊會有點深，感覺心情都變得低沉了。
剧情没怎么搞懂，幕后黑手是男主爸爸的上司吗，就是最后给他颁奖的那个?所以就要随便找一个替死鬼，而且要杀光在录像带里面的人，因为怕暴露身份吗?

转折和感情生硬得不得了，男主和女主的亲密镜头都比和男二多

三颗星统统给演员的颜值。
比较套路的剧情，但放在历史上，又有其不可被抹灭的一笔，影片至少让对这段历史不了解的观众，多了些认识。“有罪的都是gay”，这句话看完全片后，依旧回响...所幸现在的环境，逐渐好转。片尾曲很好听，男二好出彩，但可能个人原因，对影片内容，共情度一般。
