The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 非常喜欢电影里关于女性的塑造，无论是哪种女性，什么身份什么性格，都知道在当下情况里该做什么该决定什么，尽管这一点在实际生活中非常正常，但在国内影视作品里往往会将女性角色刻板印象化、故意夸大感性的一面，而在《峰爆》里，我们看到是正常的女性角色，这份“正常”，真的很难得。
在地下溶洞找出口的过程中，父子回忆母亲的逝去，接着莫名其妙的争吵。这感情戏没必要，真的没必要。找路要紧啊！！！氧气有限啊！！！！接着不找路了，华丽丽的睡觉。呃，我替你们着急啊！！！！！

果真国产灾难片还是挺灾难的，我不该抱有期待的，中国式感动，身为堂堂正正的中国人，习惯了……哎

这片子里的女性角色都很奇怪，一个好象是儿童节目主持人，另一个长年走温婉路线，突然一下子刚正不阿起来，甚至会让人错误联想起《芙蓉镇》来。一个部门应该用的是纳税人的钱，拍一部拼了老命和小命夸自己的电影，这是一种什么样的精神？是自己吃“饱”了，还要硬拉着别人一起“撑”的作风，这可能就是传说中的共同“精神”富裕。
