The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 是不是有点类似
看到监狱的部分有惊喜，但和算牌始终有点割裂，如果只讲虐囚会不会好一些？
虽然我看的很懵,但是这个影像风格实在是太强了
保罗施拉德，拍一部少一部。老派也是双刃剑，迷人的noirfilm开局，监狱哲学，usa信仰破灭，什么时候能砍掉过时的爱情线
老绿魔客串男主的师傅， 戏不多但蛮有画龙点睛的味道

男主的表演好棒，起初面无表情的赌博机器，发现小伙子去报仇丧命时候的微张的鼻翼，最后发现喜欢的人来探监时候会心一笑

本来以为是一部赌片，结果又是一部战后ptsd的片子。两种情节穿插在一起，整个片子的节奏都很慢，只是力度完全不一样，在打牌的时候很稳很平和，离开牌桌后，男主的动作和习惯以及和cirk的对话，却充满了力度。还不错
还算不错，就是最后的结局有点意外，报个仇还把自己搭进去了，不是应该潇洒离去，逍遥法外的吗？
让我想到了福柯的训诫与惩罚，但文艺性不如拉斯冯提尔
关塔那莫和拉斯维加斯一次拉郎配组合。讲精于计算的人孤注一掷，作死的历程。一大堆赔率和赌技渲染无非反衬出最后男主非理性的抉择。保罗施奈德似乎擅长这类心执异念，飞蛾扑火的悲剧人物命运设计。
沉郁的气质，叙事上颇为反类型，但略显不够powerful

勉强3星，片名和剧情本身并无太多关联，算是对体制黑洞以及战争创伤后遗症的反讽，节奏过于拖沓，想看到一场精彩的赌局，结果看了个寂寞。

有些镜头蛮有意思的，大段的广角和监狱里的百态，很妙。
讽刺社会的隐喻？可惜对赌博类一窍不通尽管呆地连声音都帅气可voiceover解释部分完全入不了脑……
太高冷的电影，看不懂。打着算牌的幌子，讲的是一个很晦涩的主题，不是我的菜
