The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 整体挺chill out，通俗版Terrence Malick能成新一代的鸡汤配方倒是没想到。
不是传统的homeless的故事，更多的是自我选择的放逐
对话写得太好了，几个配角的对白都令人落泪。个体叙事高于一切。

世界上有千百种生活方式
和看完剧情简介之后的期待还是有些出入。一部女性导演的公路片，着眼于受生活困苦却保有生存信念的底层人。感觉比较出彩的地方是在对事情的轻描淡写中将Fern对于“在路上”生活和对人生方方面面（逝去的亲情，生老病死，短暂的友情）的思考和对她的坚毅的一步步刻画。后半段马力克式的自然镜头比较喜欢。对于这条路通往何方，导演没有给出答案，回到物是人非的故乡，和亲密的伙伴在一起，还是抛下一切“路上再见”？而且配乐是真的棒，应该是这部电影里我最喜欢的元素了。
lovebifan：让我想起《猜火车》里的那段经典台词，生活中就是有人不想买他妈的大电视，而选择不停地在路上，看群山，看飞鸟，looking ahead, to the day you die.

不过台词中的说教意味有些浓，情节之间不是很连贯，导致看的时候并没有多少共鸣。
真正的诗意，隐藏在老无所依的边缘之地，属于无所依遁的边缘之人。
D- / 好久没看到过这么无趣的公路片了，摸不透素材选取的思路，采用线性叙事又放弃叙事逻辑而改用场景拼贴，剪辑叙事和摄像各行其道，而影像又空洞而缺乏表现力，因此填充的配乐甚是露怯，和马力克比也差太远。

我们哪里能真正明白美国的房车文化。 过于艺术片看的让人困乏 全程都是因为科恩嫂顶着才不至于睡着。
《无依之地》所让人感动的，并不是电影制造了多少戏剧化的泪点，而是随着剧情的展开，在细腻的情感表达，其电影让观众融入到了一个中年女性的漂泊生活中，让人意识到人生终究是一场孤独的旅行，每个人都只能陪伴你一程。平静克制的情感表达下，电影的孤独有着苍凉，也有着温柔。
