剧情上来讲只有三颗星，虽然是网飞本来还期待会更惊喜的，但大概动画类的片子还是老套路比较保险吧，这部就很驯龙高手，从看到小红救人开始，就看到结尾了，但两个小时也不会觉得无聊，尽管杂糅的元素有点多，导致支线故事都很不饱满，似乎是也没有想要拍续集的意思，就冲着小红他们仨之间的感情故事看吧！剧情再老套，该哭还是会哭哈哈哈，所以最后不管是海兽还是飞龙，骨子里都是猫科犬科的吗哈哈哈哈哈

严肃、正经的动画电影，各方面的内容设定都十分完整，有海上版《驯龙高手》的感觉，但却吃了太晚出现的亏，新鲜感早已被相似的优秀动画电影消磨掉。三星半。

四颗星给小红，女孩，小蓝（开窗那段萌到了），女大副。只有女孩关心小红身上被刺伤留下的武器，为它去除。TA们在海中穿过水母群的那段。撒谎和挑起战争的皇室，虚假的历史，残忍杀害地球上其他生物和猎巫的人类，这不是很真实吗。这种童话至少比长发公主等和野男人私奔的童话好很多

不知道中文名为什么叫《海怪猎人》，明明就是海怪。 很感人，中间我一直怕有什么反转，现在看动画片都要小心，很怕结局不好。因为现实太残酷了，没有人在乎什么对错、真相。一切只是运气。
想象力贫瘠，剧情烂俗，动画电影做成这样，玩球。
