The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 故事没意思，整体拍得还可以。节奏挺紧凑的。

三人组中一人被改成女性，人质中白人女性说出“他们谁都不理解我，我的黑人情节”，这些改编有必要吗？政治正确魔怔了……也就真实事件背景还有点意义。2.5星

刻意煽情，这种程度的所谓反抗是不能成事的。
就因为目的换成了释放曼德拉，所有人开始支持他了除了上校，就。。。很突兀
基本上不过取材于历史真实事件的外壳，电影本身的情节全部都是虚构的，而且还夹带了当下庸俗但「政治正确」的私货，「三义士」是南非黑人解放运动成功后的「由果倒退」的虚名，却被本片编导煞有介事的炮制「神话」，可见电影作为纯粹的宣传工具时的不堪。

贵在真实，不要当成一般的警匪片就不会有拍的不好的感觉了。自由的代价是一切。种族歧视的抗争
和《盛夏未来》有一定共通性，都是介由男同性恋还在挣扎身份认同或者情感认同的视角，真正去完成的反而是另一个少女的成长弧光。虽然它整体都要做得更虚幻也太美好，比起站在学校礼堂公开演讲撑同志这种白日梦一般的剧情，电影里拍出异性恋对同性恋态度最准确、真实的地方，应该是男主跳楼之后的那堂讨论课，当他不在场的时候，所有人都可以重新假装云淡风轻、毫不在乎，但前提必须是，他不在场。
黑人为了自由，为了自身不被种族歧视而抗争之路，在有白人的世界一直那么艰难。这部影片也拍的很真实，充满了人性的张力。《误杀2》似乎和这个真实的故事很有相似。
故事挺套路化的，顺带了解了一下真实事件，过于“正确”，原创部分较多。
