吉浦康裕终于也到了安心制作合家欢影片的时候吗。“机器人科幻”和“音乐”这两个他追逐了二十年的元素，在这却只是给一个再寻常不过的校园故事作衬。不过比起其上部作品与本片有异曲同工之感的细田守，吉浦监督和大河内老师聪明在他们甘愿囿于青春反抗的保险范式，不会让观众因不切实际的野心而扫兴。
