The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 小小的法庭，完整描绘了整个社会的撕裂感，老法官代表了极其迂腐傲慢的美国官僚制度，年轻一辈繁多的面孔都让人振奋不已。
恭喜网飞拍出了一部美国版《辩护人》。我被感动，不是某种价值观又或者某种壮举，只是因为自己的懦弱。
这部电影的台词就是一切，酣畅淋漓的俩小时；“60s outside the bar, 50s inside the bar”
集结了非常多优秀的演员，信息量对于我这种不了解情况的简直叹为观止。节奏张弛有度，基本全靠文本推进，但一点不无聊。【The whole world's watching.】
此片打分颇高，但相信不少人看得一团雾水，因为对此历史事件并不了解，只是觉得明星多，剪接快，口水多。应该说，中间有些对白不错，比较有意思，纪录片的穿插也非常好，有几位的表演也非常精彩，但整体来说，故事背景不算清楚，开头主要人物介绍不够，缺乏与真实人物的对照，事件太多有些混杂不清，看着挺热闹，其实一地鸡毛。
在这个时间点很难有什么东西让我对美国的未来重拾信心, 这部电影做到了.
1.小兰回复了新一在伦敦的告白，两人正式开始交往。
没想到这种密集对白的戏码竟然比特效大片更过瘾刺激，热血沸腾，在唇枪舌剑中穿插还原事件，这种高能的对白和剪辑我之前只在社交网络和乔布斯里见过，居然都是同一个人的剧作，艾伦索金，记住这个大佬了。
“Do you have contempt for your government? (你是否蔑视你的政府)” - "It's nothing compared to the contempt my government has for me.(与我的政府对我的蔑视相比, 我的蔑视不值一提)” | 这个时间点上映真是太应景了，整个2020魔幻一年啊，如果当选最佳是不是也太表明奥斯卡态度了？虽然感觉奥斯卡也没在怕的。最后一幕太鸡血其实有点莫名。

预料中的年度群戏。这角色也太适合Mark Rylance了，跟一群男子混在一起，可以发脾气，教训人，还有点神经兮兮的。

看了20分钟以为这么愚蠢unethical的法官是编的 结果居然是真的…
剧本真的赞，好电影就该是多元多视角两方理由让观众觉得都有道理的。看似疯癫的嬉皮士其实聪明克制，循规蹈矩的好学生却是骚乱源头心机深。也就美国有这种庭审，要在某地。。。。

是否存在一个民权运动电影的现象？《芝加哥七君子审判》是目前看到最成熟的，无论是叙事线把握整合的能力还是煽情的能力（沉默与暴力的对接是最显见的精彩剪辑），奇怪的是，要为这类电影做一个精彩的收尾莫非真是一件难事？太泄气了
the whold world is watching！堪比当年看悲惨世界的 do you hear the people sing！但是，怀揣美国梦的爱国者们，我替你们的理想感到可惜，现实的灯塔国用过去这差不多一年的种种，彻底打脸了。左或者右，这是个永远无解的命题，但我相信，自由民主，始终会是对此有所追求的理想主义者们，心中的向往。
