其实很明白老而弥坚的东木导演自导自演这部电影的心境，宝刀已老，虽然曾驰骋疆场，但现在却难堪大用，心理落差可见一斑。电影里的故事情节体现出了东木导演牛仔气质的一面，为了保护心爱的女人孩子离开家。但是故事情节和人物成长都太单薄了。
一个老人教会旁人如何温柔地看待老去的故事。
东木老爷子这情节开挂也太离谱了，小男孩的人设不合理，墨西哥风骚寡妇献身，警察点错相，连鸡都识得救场，改成晚年幸福生活比较贴切搞什么Cry Mecho
一些瑕疵在91岁的老爷子面前都不算什么了。
看得出来东木老爷是真的老了 表演有点力不从心的感觉 但 还能看到老爷子在演戏 那就足够了 不是么
活化石拍电影，虽然是旧瓶装旧酒，但抛弃了过高的期待，总体还是在好看的一边。希望可以看到“惊！百岁老人自导自演”。

不得不佩服，老爷子不仅顽强地活着，而且活得很顽强。

这么大岁数了真不容易！还得演副线的感情戏。哈哈哈。老当益壮。
在有生之年真的是看一部少一部，希望老爷子能一直健康长寿！
平心而论真的很“平淡无奇”，情节也是非常“俗不可耐”的一部片子，其中对于冲突的温柔简洁处理想来却算是对自己“力不从心”的一种别样阐述了，无论戏里戏外亦是如此。但再怎么说东木导演90多了还能坚持拍片，有这种精力也确实是令人敬佩的。
劇情有點平淡，也沒什麼出彩吸引人的部分，中間部分氣氛挺好，結局有點蹩腳，整體來說沒有預想中來得好。
