The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Noomi 的动作片从未让我失望过。这部虚拟战争背景的影片，没有正面硬刚或者谍战的桥段。冰冷结冰的湖面上，士兵决心完成最关键的任务来结束战争。冻结的冰面变数多端，就好似暗喻了这场任务的不确定性。队员因为意外落水，组员间的互相不信任，发现任务的真实秘密后内心产生的动摇。到基地前的那段都很好看。最让人震撼的是无辜市民遭殃最后冻结在湖面的场景，令人心酸。最后到基地的15分钟剧情就有些狗血了。总体观感还是很不错的

既不知道战争因何而起，也不知道敌人是谁，打不过了就祭出病毒武器，欲毁灭人类，这倒是符合时下的病毒流行的阴谋论。
