Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'
劳模姐真的很拼，所以也很可惜，影片流水账式的叙事实在拉跨
7分，影片最后的1/4才感觉有了魂，前面就像在看纪实文学，导演有点软，浪费了劳模姐的演技，这个演技不值一个奥斯卡吗我滴乖乖太会演了，加菲被比的快没了。加菲的演技问题在于演谁都是一个青春靓丽大男孩，说白了就是他自己，这个角色其实不太适合他。今年虽然他也提名（倒数时刻）了，但我觉得是这个角色适合他而已。
荣耀归于上帝，金钱归于布道者。太阳底下无新鲜事，最终都是难免尔虞我诈的利益之争，演技确实是唯一看点。劳模姐结尾换头级演出，个人感觉有些用力过度，但也算“触动人心”吧，值得一座小金人，加菲和塔米菲老母演得也不错，还有一个锤哥+基努里维斯结合体的肌肉猛男让人印象深刻。

和里卡多一家真的互为对照，两部都是写一个美国电视icon，对于不熟悉的人都有些难以下咽，但是两部其实是两个极端。里卡多一家承载了太多议题，但是索金至少是有表达的意图，这部直接放弃了表达，只是截取几个高光时刻，没有组织，看完对塔米菲反而有很多疑问。当然劳模演的是好的，但称不上好的表演
看到后面有点惊到了，她真信上帝的?？我还以为只是获得关注,谋生敛财的手段嘞。
劳模姐的演技太棒了完全值得奥斯卡影后。影片本身脚本一般般，没有深挖tammy faye的内心世界，纯靠劳模姐把一个又天真又神棍，又脆弱又顽强的复杂角色演绎出来。
我们作为人的贪婪本性在这部电影里，一览无余。
看“信”会让看的人得到宁静，宗教的事还是很难说，有时愚蠢有时有趣，不过宗教学竟然还是二级学科，说明不信者依旧众多，或许是件好事，who knows，3.5
传记片的基本盘，但全然是不平衡到与最佳剧本背道而驰，原型人物的弧光会被什么样的制作抹平呢？两星半

挖掘的内容过于表面了，浪费了查斯坦奥斯卡级别的表演，她不过是一个需要爱的女人，为此她努力的去拥抱所有人。
查斯坦凭演技封后绰绰有余，关键影片本身质量能不能让奥斯卡给这个面子？纵观竞品，质量也没有拔高的，所以劳模确实要拿到她人生中第一座小金人了。
这两个主演让人觉得很不适，神经兮兮的。看不下去。
不是这迟迟不出分不会也要成为不可说了吧？

劳模姐的演技很好，但是电影拍得够莫名。加菲尔德好像还没有从倒数时刻里走出来。奥斯卡最佳女主角可以提名，但是拿不下来。好吧，拿下来了。
其实是个动人的故事和人物，但在核心冲突的表现上有点乏力，该用力的时候还是要用力啊！
