The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 从《鬼魅浮生》开始就特别喜欢大卫·洛维的风格，到了这部最新作也不例外。精致的构图与色彩运用，令强迫症拍手叫好的运镜，再加上极其有韵味中世纪骑士风格，造就了这部观感相当舒服的电影。虽然剧情并不算精彩，但最后一幕捡回了不少分，完成了一个合格的收尾，也已经达到了我的预期，好看。4星。
有几个瞬间，感觉差点就要爱起了，但最后二十分钟怎么回事啊？！（两星还是三星？）
全程应该是惊悚气氛但我看下来觉得非常舒服，气氛格外舒畅呢

原版诗歌高文近乎完美无瑕的完成了试炼，电影改版注入了很多人性的东西，吝啬算计胆怯背叛淫欲几乎就是骑士美德的反面，高文最后几分钟闪过一生后，摘下腰带从容赴死，才是真正完成了试炼。拍摄手法很高级，内核也不差，考虑文化背景差异，这片子评价不好非常正常

Visually extremely pleasing, but content wise not so convincing. Dev Patel is hot though.
这探索迷人
摄影打光配乐 十分出彩 ，但故事就有点不知所云了 ，又臭又长 。
没有很传统的讲骑士精神，甚至带了点堂吉诃德的影子，看了眼原小说的大概内容，电影里面的高文爵士其实挺贴切，反理想化。A24每次都有惊喜，片子的摄影和美术做的很棒，传说的意境感是达到的。其实抛开文化差异，它也是个不错的故事。
改编寓言故事成大烂俗套的电影。强行升华主题反效果让人尴尬。当妈的不从小教育孩子，让他放纵不羁爱自由。临到继承关头，变几个戏法让他改过自新成为合格继承人，扯淡么这不是。烂编剧看来不光国内有，国外也一大堆啊。
David Lowery这导演可以直接cancel了，我看还有一部《老人与枪》，也就算了吧
我觉得这种中世纪还涉及宗教的我都很难看下去。。。
