The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 挺有戏的故事底子，命案、党棍、黑警、强权……拍得实在是波澜不惊，太过顺当。
香港一帮老戏骨撑着勉强看完，剧本不够扎实...可惜这强大的卡司，为廖先生勉强3星
好烂的故事。低智的悬疑部分，羸弱的法庭辩白部分，僵硬的"天降神兵"部分，尴尬的自白正义部分……莫名其妙，浪费时间。
有些不像电影，更像电视剧的sp。TVB有个和这个类似的电视剧，不知道有什么关系?
智叔走好，片子就一TVB律政剧加长版的感觉。
电影中数次探讨，站在鸡蛋的那一方，还是站在高墙的那一方。这一点，值得我们思考。这么宏大的问题，电影的落脚点放在身为父亲的方中信身上。为什么要站在鸡蛋的那一边，因为他想给他的女儿创造一个是非分明的世界。
二星半，挺平庸的，因为廖启智遗作，所以加半颗星。
当曾志威在法庭上狂躁发疯冲着他爸喊救他的时候，瞬间想到了九品芝麻官里常威在喊他那阴阳人烂pg的干爹！

要是真严谨起来
每次看到关于律师题材的片就会非常羡慕律师
殺妻兇手作為破局牽線人設定得不錯，不算為了過審而加上自首一鍋端的話，利用偽造証供標榜人無完人、公義賽高就有點畫蛇添足了

本剧于2019年首开记者招待会后，便一直传闻要上，谁知从2019拖到2020甚至拖到了2021年10月，两年半的时间，硬生生给拖成了智叔的遗作之一。
比想象要好，就是最后有种神之手破案的感觉…
正义战胜邪恶，即使是制造出来的正义，也好过让坏人逍遥法外。
-整体不错 但是故事经不起推敲
影片二星，加一星鼓励。港片的辉煌，就如同廖启智的生命一样，一去不复返了。
一开始就猜到了结局…… 都是好演员，就是太缺一分悬念让人聚精会神。
港剧的质感，拍的不错，但是故事很套路没有创新
