The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 文艺风格的剧情片。适合文青吹逼，至少能通过本片了解史诗级的原著。故事晦涩，节奏巨慢，竭尽所能故弄玄虚，浪费了镜头所营造的悬疑与史诗感。
画面色调很不错，尤其是中间巨人场景又爱又怕，就是这故事虽然以前大学学过，但是这拍的也太无趣了点吧。

虽然故事讲明白了，但是略显无聊，不够吸引人。
首先硬件是真的绝了，光和镜头都太美了。故事的话是真的有点故作深沉了，其实就是一个童话串烧外衣下的男人成长史。
开始以为看了个奇幻电影 中间以为看了个恐怖电影 看到最后 好家伙 原来是个文艺片
最后一秒幡然醒悟的怂逼蜕变记。大卫·洛维虽然炫技过头，但影像仍值得反复揣摩回味。
中世纪成长公路片，妈咪用心良苦。影像是十足的A24风格。
7.1分，这算是反英雄电影吗？我对高文的事迹也略知一二，简单来说，他可以对标我国的赵云，是白马王子这个词的来源。结果导演找了个印度人来演高文，关键是人物塑造的既无脑又怂，剧情也晦涩难懂，不过毕竟也是一次大胆尝试。

洛维作为新生代文艺片导演，显示了他对于影像的把控能力。本片也值得写入今年影史的作品。
弟弟与哥哥漫长的告别，第三幕笔锋一转，以对未尽之作毫不完善的演绎总结这一波三折的"魂归故里"，在粗糙的背景板下略过了人生的跨度，乡愁中更增添了许多遗憾。
被死亡分开的塔维亚尼兄弟中，保罗向维托里奥的告别，非常个人化的一部影片。
6.5/10 真的和不喜欢故作幽默的配乐。我总是觉得，拉斯冯已经在《欧洲特快车》里把列车戏拍到极致了。

恐惧和胆怯是人之常情，但拒绝虚无，坦然面对，迎接解脱，也许这正是骑士精神的意义所在。
私人到可怕，完全不给第一次接触其观众的机会，关于这位导演及其哥哥合作的电影只看过《卡奥斯》，这部电影改编自皮兰德娄，所以影片中是有将《卡奥斯》的片段以黑白的方式插入进入，期间应该还插入这对兄弟合作的其他影片，影片最后那句卷起来夹在腋下的，大概是“胶片”吧，属于导演和他哥哥共同的存在证明
