The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 感觉不如预告片啊，情怀倒是满满。可惜我看的没字幕，不然剧情应该会再好点。

这类题材尤为演员试金石。双男主选角精准，演技之外，脸相气韵均符深陷纸牌屋该有的人性刻度。 后半部以及结尾，没想到是那样。让人看罢无限怅惘、不时反刍、无比感喟、深存心田的一部，爱这两个角色，还爱两个好演员。
后半部很好，台词融合了文学、艺术和哲学的感觉。编剧/导演很有才华，演员都是实力派。

影子军师热烈追随甘心臣服甚至迷醉不能自拔，但并不代表主仆之间理念信条的契合与认同。博弈层递、胜败诡谲、善恶悖论、忠奸莫辨，才更具张力。
