The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 女儿接替失踪的父亲，怪兽儿子接替同时失踪的冠军怪兽，赢得冠军，保住体育场！
浪漫生活小品，平铺直叙的故事剧情，没什么拐弯抹角，却让人赏心悦目，很适合佳节播出。片中受瞩目当然是Katherine McNamara和Arienne Mandi饰演的Taylor&Franki，两人外型靓丽相衬，抢了饰演作家老妈的Melora Hardin不少风头。
动画就是在非现实的维度里发生奇迹，让人好像打了肾上腺素，暂时忘记现实维度里的纠缠与痛苦，甚至能对生活中积极的一面充满信心。我不会去恨一部动画片，也不会鸡蛋里挑骨头去站pc立场。动画是我的梦幻港。
80岁的老导演实在不忍，这个故事可以拍得更好吧。
一大一小，人和怪兽形成鲜明对比，这种反差萌，挺有意思。
