剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     2021.10.18 突然发现上映了，然后看完了。最后发展成章鱼大战合成怪，然后几分钟解决战局。过程好水…感觉自己浪费时间，但这个IP还是可以的，还是比较喜欢真人版。

    其实看到东木这位91岁的老牛仔依然是活跃在大银幕上已经足够让我感动了，本片是延续《完美的世界》的公路片模式，但是把情节进一步简单化，没有强烈的冲突，只有一位迟暮的老驯马师对一个小屁孩的人生教诲，也是献给自己的一个童话。边境风光很美，配乐很动人，雄鸡也很上镜，一切都那么简单质朴。（7/10）

    8.1 之前看到朋友在学clint eastwood电影中的masculinity，那么本片恰恰是对其身上种种男性符号的回望与反思。年老的牛仔不再是任何一人的white savior，他只是一个身处异地的美国佬，一个动物的亲好者，一个真正的朋友。只有这般的去戏剧化，我们才能感知到东木的真实意图:这个时代不再需要macho了，而是需要更多的爱与哭泣。
