The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 涉及的元素太多所以显得很乱，仁者见仁智者见智，外星生物创造论，时间，宗教。
最后的时钟将我带回仿佛一切未曾有过，一切都想一场疯狂的梦。
前半段比较精彩，跟随调查员探索废土世界，后半段不知所云。
画质和音乐及两者之和谐好评。
极致的氛围塑造，构筑了一个支离破碎的黑暗血肉世界，不过除了极强的画面表现力外并没有什么太多的优点，如果单纯的突出实验性跟先锋性，完全可以做成短片，一个多小时的片长却没有一个完整的故事，看到那些宗教隐喻实在是味同嚼蜡
单靠前30分钟能给4.5，但后面的内容就没那么精彩了，想讲的有点多，但没达到该有的效果。
应该晚上睡觉前窝在被子里带耳机看，然而是白天外放看得，蛮先锋蛮cult的，类似某种噩梦。
定格动画的巅峰之作。前无古人，后很难说有没有来者。瑕疵其实是表达欲望。如果什么都不想表达就是最最完美的呈现。但后半段那种表达的欲望还是将之拉入了庸俗的泥潭。
