The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 好古怪但令人忍不住多看几眼，这个故事如果用“正统”拍法反而没什么看头。
制作升级了，也塑料了，DP不知道是不是同一个人但减分了。文本中后段城堡段有点破节奏。肯定不如魅影，但依然是好电影。腰带就像那个肆无忌惮的保障，自由却并不存在。导演应该赚到钱了吧！！

还挺不错的，电影院观感也很棒。A24风格显眼，小成本拍出了史诗大作的味道很不容易，服化道摄影配乐都相当加分。由于事先了解了故事原型，整体理解没有什么太大障碍，以至于古英语和咬文嚼字也并不觉得有什么太大的问题。些许细节不错，几个原创场景也值得拿来具体分析。全片动物戏都很加分，从开场的驴鸭互动到后来的狐狸角色都有点戳到我…还有就是片中有不少很冷的笑点正中我下怀了，不过全场鸦雀无声可能还是我比较奇怪吧…
7.9 画面和配乐都很精美，只是这么简单个事真没必要拍这么长。
最终主旨也就是个成长故事
纵使系上腰带、挂上头衔……一切的失约皆是临时工的作为。如今不像是骑士的时代，每个人都像是临时工。
中规中矩的儿童读物改编剧，属于不踩雷但没亮点的作品
每个段落都有看过的感觉。不过女儿看得很开心。
