這部真的不應該被歸爲恐怖片……其中有幾個鏡頭可圈可點，美術和配樂也還不錯，但僅此而已，這個昏昏欲睡的節奏我真的看不懂，明明A Ghost Story那麽喜歡……至於隱喻和解構，就留給有興趣的人吧……

了解象征骑士精神的五项品质（Five virtues of a knight）：虔诚（Piety），慷慨（Generosity），善行（Courtesy），贞洁（Chastity），友谊（Friendship），这部电影就没那么难懂了，还是挺有趣的一部电影的，音乐画面都很宗教史诗的感觉，氛围渲染相当不错，很有意思

女主摔倒后，编剧似乎得了脑震荡，故事情结就不在线了。
美术和光影棒极啦，但除此之外也没啥夸得出口的……
服化道可以看出类型片模版的范式，妆造、场景布置及灯光充满考究、极尽奢华豪华，是回到“原汁原味的中世纪”的还原主义倾向，或者对一种“神性”的回归。但是比如1:32:51那里女人摇曳的耳环，它甚至盖过了女人雕琢般立体的面部风姿，吸引目光的注意；这个耳环就（对我来说很明显）是现代工业的产品，它的金色包边是金色的而不是黄金做的。还有多个高文眼睛的近距离特写镜头，他的眼睫毛是做过卷烫过的。围绕着人的物品作为非神性或者（大工业时代以来）无神论的提词器，可以反推神的神性或者中世纪的中世纪性也是由组成场景的物品彰显或担保的，而人也在通过将自己身体的具体的部分物化的同时认同拜物教对信仰（神）的僭越，人通过货币交换行为获取自身之改造的同时，也把“非神”的或“没有神”刻入进被改造的那个部分。成果作为见证。
