The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 要说缺陷可能只是叙事上还不够绵密，像寺院的情节就有损节奏。在说资源在权力层级链条中的流动，各个叙述单元的视觉表现都很出色，尤其皇帝的形象，表达力度相比《姜子牙》这样更新的电影可见一斑，大概从这里逐渐形成中国动画怪诞甚至偏暗黑的审美趣味（比如被轧断腿、狐妖盗取天书后的乱舞）。
等了这么久，感觉有点无趣和失望，笑点不多，哭点也没有。
10分，剧本实在太好了，小时候超爱看，现在也依然如此。
看了很多遍啊。小时候会感慨怎么会有那么好看的电视呢。那时能看的动画片不多，现在看来却都是制作精良的佳片。可惜啊，现在的儿童却只能看些惨不忍睹的动画了。这是怎么了。

我拥有这部作品的漫画版，哦，那个年代叫做小人书。剧情很赞！起承转合都很赞！无论是正派还是反派都刻画的那么到位。苍天啊，那时的国产动画真好！

民俗集中营，BBC撤资，审查宽松，客观成就了一次放开手脚的国产喜剧动画回归。歌舞段落，武侠致敬，噱头配角，明星配音，符合西方价值的中国普罗米修斯。动画人设个个富有奇趣，灵感来自年画、门神、戏曲等。//2021修复重映，杜比影厅：片尾有一个小纪录片，讲到动画追求“奇、趣、美”，上美厂老厂长要求“不重复别人，不重复自己”，老艺术家们住在一个院子里，一起创作，很了不起。修复版配音还是原来的，配乐是上海交响乐团重新配的，原配乐用了很多传统民乐、80年代合成器，今天看来仍然很时髦。
