The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? Sadly Ben Platt is too mature and too famous for this role and this pathetic story is absolutely ruined by the Platt Family

其实没有刻意的煽情，但我依然哭得泪流成河，是哭到眼泪把口罩淹没，走出电影院时一言不发的程度。电影尚且如此，不敢想象如果去年音乐剧巡演没有因为疫情取消的话（毕竟当时连downtown剧院装修都已经进入DEH模式了），我会在剧院哭成怎样一种无法言述的惨状。希望早日能进剧场痛痛快快再哭一次。
看完了音乐剧，勉强打个四星拉拉平均分，说小本太老不适合演的我也不知道说啥了
电影版拍的什么狗屁…还不如直接放官摄！删了好几首不说，你不如直接拍MV算了，每句词一个景来解释

作为电影太单调了，既get不到内核，也没有音乐剧的幽默，音乐剧里eh是被迫推动撒谎，但是电影里像个矫情的小孩
对于音乐剧翻拍来讲场景太单一 设计太少了，全片靠立意和歌撑着，不过最后的“a little closer”还是一场暴击😭

电影版最喜欢的竟然是sincerely me…
因为是热门ip，导演一定会被束缚手脚。粉丝千呼万唤的名场面大神曲一个也不敢落下，到改编得太差了：视听语言极其枯燥乏味，根本没有发挥出电影这种媒介的特性；演员都是好演员，但表演也千篇一律，明显是导演没调对。这样改真的不如别改了，直接像Hamilton出官摄更好。

音乐真是太好听了，但剧情我是完全没想到是这样的让我难受。难受于evan一次次的欺骗，难受于小孩子承受了太多，还好结尾不是一个bad ending
赶作业很无聊最终决定打开影版deh（也就这种时候可以看看，要我完全专心沉浸式尴尬看这部是不可能的...），看着ben platt演evan的既视感就像eddie munson那种留级十年都毕不了业的高中生（区别是怪奇的eddie好歹还是可爱的，bp演evan真的是能让我脚趾扣地）就算你是原卡也得尊重角色吧......再加上当初被网友冲了之后爆出的言论本来对bp好感十足全给败光了，就算不看屏幕光听念台词都觉得别扭。。。虽然我还是看完了。。
