The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. Avant-première du 11 avril à Centre Pompidou avec Julia. 向看惯爆米花的她解释这部真的很戛纳。伪纪录片风格的虚构真实，根据勘探者找到世界第三深的洞的真实历史改编。最喜欢医生检查牧民身体与工作者深入洞穴中探测那段的穿插，岩壁犹如器官般的被侵入者的头灯反照的熠熠生辉。映后摄影师在现场交流，提到剧中的牧民和影片中一样已经离去了。唤起了我 Une nostalgie écologiste.
哎哟，呆梨爱好者+大自然傻看着就乐呵呵爱好者，觉得简直满分了。普利亚大区这么美啊，有那手艺画图，我也天天户外钻洞爬山去了。谁不爱看牛牛扇耳朵积雨云赛跑还幻想能被雾气包围着呢。
镜头美，喜欢的类比，是眼耳清洗剂。六几年的洞穴探险一股纯真的勇气，想有这样的纯真活到死。
看完了，对于粉丝来说很快乐吧，虽然是漫画里已经出现过的剧情。（所以没看过的和反感的别强求）
探险世界第三深洞，消减叙事让位于纯粹的画面表意，以及绝美的风景和狭窄深渊的高难度摄影。并行探险队探测和当地牧羊老人，进入-远观-探索-苏醒-呼唤-接收，在自然雾霭中实现交流。沉睡的自然洞穴被外来者唤醒，正如电视机里的流行文化成为通向世界的唯一窗口，和“洞”一起成为相互探索的连接点。

还可以，制片人那个引人遐想，男主祖父年轻时候是真帅，受受每次都很弱势有些有些缺乏主动，剧情没那么在意了

蠢太这腹黑的表象下面居然如此感性，他是强悍的一方，却同时是弱势的一方。西条永远是他的柳橙花❤看了这部剧场版居然有点想去西班牙，看看西班牙的中庭文化，再看看那迷人热情的弗朗明哥舞步。
黑暗中的光点永远是摄人心魄的。夜色里众人围观黑白电视，而我坐在漆黑的宿舍里，电脑屏幕中的光俨然也是目所能及唯一的光源，我们都是从洞中向外张望天光的人。
