A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.
Flodders (1986) is available on DVD in Germany in a dubbed German version in Dolby Digital 5.1. under the name:

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
拍得既残忍又极其克制，细腻别致，也许有新的男性气质在暗中慢慢浮现，但我觉得始终没有跳出传统刻板人设上。
节奏缓慢，不明觉厉。是一个女导演对大男子气概（machismo）阴恻恻的贬低和否定（？）意思是说一个蒙大拿西部牛仔，纯度最高的纯爷们，居然是个基佬，并且死于娘炮之手。类似于赵云身经百战却死于老婆的一根绣花针。
卷福演的真是好，抽烟喷烟那两下，真是绝了，还有那些眼神，太牛了。少年的梳子是在什么电影里看过吗，总觉得有印象，但是想不起来了。西部片演的这么回荡，真的是难得，
对bc无感，但是这个把自己溺死在幻想与绝望之间的角色演得不错，简坎皮恩不愧我最喜欢的导演之一。而且最后那明显是自杀啊，耶鲁毕业高材生隐藏这么多年，居然看不出来死小孩的小心机？只不过对这个世界绝望并且想死在对过去的追忆里而已。
被囚禁的女性气质、被定义为疯癫的女性气质
表面看似柔弱的Peter实际上冷漠无情，Phil虽然外表冷酷不羁内心却愿意为了喜欢的人付出至极，极度克制与极度的张力，以为是另一部《断背山》，其实却是一个复仇故事。
在雄性荷尔蒙激荡的广袤西部，他们有轰轰烈烈的断臂山，你们有若隐若现的犬之山，都是无法跨越之山。卷福、邓斯特值得影帝、影后期待。
对他的爱是丝巾是马鞍，是望向远山吠犬时的慰藉。对你的爱是皮绳是伤口，是染上炭疽病毒后的甘愿。这些年我是阉割的牛，却被你剥皮。你是解剖的兔，却被你了断。原来我是刺耳的梳齿，是紧绷的琴弦，是将焚的纸花，是袒露的兽皮。我的记忆在深山的铺盖卷里，我的秘密在远山的云影间，我的爱在你的床底。
3.0。过度克制导致语焉不详，最喜欢的反而是新婚的杰西普莱蒙和邓斯特在崖边跳舞，跳着跳着普莱蒙流下了眼泪，他说他不再是一个人。他俩诠释了fragile一词 。
挺精致，挺细致的，演员也都好，氛围好，节奏稳。不过有些情节和细节的设置还是有点明显，我看着觉得不够精妙，不够有天分。反正片子不错，但是给我的刺激比较少，让我老想走神。

匠气十足，简直是把一切情绪隐忍到了不可压缩的地步。。伴着西部的风景，形成了一种独特的风格。每个人的角色都蛮饱满的，特别是那个少年的演员，长得就是那种又阴柔又变态的样子，看的人脊背发凉。这是一场缓慢的杀戮，喜欢BC在小房间里一脸苦大仇深地谈琴，喜欢邓斯特那几场半醉半疯的戏，一点点，一点点在没有高潮的剧情里高潮。
这个片子我真的看了好久，前半段总是因为各种事情被打断，漫长得像永远不会结束，到结尾的时候步步紧逼、最后一下干脆利落，如男主扭断那只兔子的脖子一般。
是好看的。好像很久以前就被剧透了一点点关于 Phil 的事情，反而起了作用帮助进入故事，觉得节奏正好。但其实是开头的陈述很不克制，特别是提琴声撩拨情绪，导致让人以为有险象环生的心理惊悚，看到终章可能会觉得小题大作。但在Phil 的视角之内，其实是个救赎故事。他试图用肮脏暴虐伪装起的心墙，最后得以平复光洁安宁。
恶意与折磨的较量，铺垫部分相当沉得住气。Kodi表现抢眼，之前的slow west就很棒。
罕见的题材。讲述少年人的残酷。具体就是残酷的少年人杀死了长大成人的残酷少年。片子极闷，音乐是加分项，一直在暗示事情不妙。《断背山》后传。
简导在人物情绪的表达上一如既往的出色，当然卷福与邓斯特的演技也有着至关重要的作用。但本片最出色的地方还是通过人物关系叙事，我们看着简导将人物关系慢慢拆解再重新组建，分解的构成十分细腻，重组的过程也足够感人。菲尔和皮特关系的构建粗看时十分突兀，但细想后才感受到那份用心。菲尔第一次招揽皮特的段落，简导用一个长镜头跟随着菲尔在嘲笑中穿行，原本处于嘲笑者行列的菲尔忽然对皮特转变了情感，怎么看都觉得不合逻辑。但正是这次看似平常却十分无畏的穿行动作，才让菲尔意识到这小子和自己是同类人。正如菲尔不愿与那些衣冠楚楚的上流人同流合污，皮特也是同样高傲的人，当菲尔带皮特看犬山后证实了自己的猜想。其实从电影开始就埋下了不少伏笔，只为这一刻的发生。而最后的结尾更让人惊叹，全片劣势的皮特才是真正拥有犬之力的人。
PS：或许奥斯卡最佳导演、最佳男配、最佳摄影，没跑了？
深柜人士活得最挣扎，也最容易被人利用。卷福屁股加一星。
爱与恨的转化微妙到这种程度，精致，但不友好。
