The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 角度挺好的女性主义作品。女性的被禁锢，让戴安娜在男性私欲、皇权和历史里进了一个死局。不是每部作品都需要是“全面的、具体的、有人道主义光辉...的”。就像电影里戴安娜自己说的，自己不过是那只鸟, beautiful but not bright.

不论历史如何，影片的切点真的很好啊。说是套层也好，counterpart也好，极其工整地假借历史展开叙述。以出轨为引子引出性别置换的特殊语境，相当自然的女性主义。尽管稍后的对戴安娜对普通人生活的向往、以及当一个普通母亲的愿望的渲染实则有些无视王室的无奈，但还是包裹住了一层对僵化制度的反讽。
K的小动作，在片子里一点也不突兀，画面好美。没有黑人！！！！！！虽然不像戴安娜王妃，但是一个和戴安娜有相同命运的人！配乐也很克制。剧本挺好的，台词也很好。k好美好瘦。
好好一个戴安娜王妃，全片儿整的，就几件首饰。

片子刚选完角的时候，大家都一众质疑。片子上了，又看到了好多夸奖。抱着怀疑好奇的心态去看，感觉能get导演要的风格，但是就感觉整部片子哪儿哪儿都很拧巴……

Depressing and beautiful. I think Pablo Larraín is better with character-centric films that involve much more dynamism, like Ema. There's some parallel, of course, in his treatment of these two female characters' range of emotional experiences, but this one feels flat. The release at the end feels satisfying, despite its smallness.
太过压抑，无数人羡慕的锦衣玉食的王室生活，对戴安娜来说却是束缚和枷锁，如此向往自由的人却错误的来到了不该来到的地方，希望戴安娜在天堂里可以找到她想要的自由。斯图尔特的演技迎来了蜕变，尽管略微有点用力过猛，但反而能把戴安娜那个时候的精神状态展现出来。
