The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 這集真是又燃又熱血又有意義！連阿呆都喜歡上了學姐，正男貌似也迷戀上了學長?XD，小新風間繼續相親相愛，妮妮應該還是最崇拜自己😅。後面一波一波的感動襲來，從詮釋什麼是“青春”，到風間最後對小新的告白，真的太讓人心潮澎湃了！在日本這樣追求千人一面的社會環境，有小新和小新父母這樣的角色，真的是有意義的！就算沒意義，電影裡也說了“沒意義的事也是需要的”！太多關於屁股的梗“吸ケツ鬼”“解ケツ”…😅還有爸爸說的“二日酔いと弱音は、吐いたら楽になる”😂太讚了！說到爸爸，還是喜歡以前爸爸的聲音啊啊啊啊！
当大部分观众还思辨学校的制度，或者寻找吸屁屁怪的凶手时，主创却到了更好的层次，上升到青春热血的层面，不得不说日本的影视文化真是绝啊
近十年来最棒的「蜡笔小新」剧场版！活在当下，青春，Fire！！！
2 特别是高潮部分突然把前卫的故事做得有点昭和 感觉没那么有必要
我流泪了看到最后！可以永远相信蜡笔小新，永远相信春日部防卫队！要不是豆瓣只可以打五分，我直接打个10000000000000000星都不为过！质量太高了！！牛逼
蜡笔小新哪里幼稚了，根本现实得令人难以置信地心碎……不过最后也真是给出了好好的答案，让人再一次看到了希望。
推理胡闹，情感真挚，这种平衡把握并不容易，比柯南火影强太多；你要说这种热血煽情套路，它确实套路，但有太多故意剑走偏锋反而弄巧成拙的反面案例之下，先学会讲好一个故事才是踏踏实实的成功，而且故事的情感是真的，我的眼泪也是真的，去他妈的精英教育，我只要快乐奔跑。

寓意挺深刻，剧情适合小孩观看，但后面硬扯什么青春就煽情且尬了，没有蜡笔小新情怀，只能给三星，不能再多了。
风间和小新真的磕到了，互相表白谁能顶得住！“大切なもの”！
青春这个话题提起来就会觉得幸福又虐，新酱和风间其实一直都是大cp友情版，风间那句小新的心是精英，说出来太让人泪目了。虽然他们的形象一直都是5岁，但他们代表的是这个世界所有值得怀念要去铭记的东西
青春是什么？青春是谜团重重。愿我们都活在青春里
1、最妙的是元凶不是那个男生，而是AI（或者说被校长不当利用后的），“恋爱”和“后悔”是青春啊！2、优点依然在对各种社会现象的反讽呈现，比如通过屁股变强大脑。3、缺点是对核心问题模糊回避。其一，正如正男所说，风间一直想成为精英需要我们解救吗？这个问题被风间的信回答即精英的评价标准不是单一的，但是风间想要的就是“正统”精英啊！其二，正如AI的疑问，旁观路人为什么要给小新他们加油，难道不想不费力成为精英吗？这个答案被青春热血的意义和努力生活的鸡汤取而代之，但既然有通向更好生活的捷径为什么不能用呢？并不是说这两个问题有所谓最优解，而是电影里没有给清楚自己的解释。
叙事和主题依旧非常稳 手绘的画风依旧存有 非常爱了
新风才是王道！！！
