The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 小女主和妈妈的演技都是很不错的，女主妈有点像使女故事的女主
导演长片首作。全片还是有想法的，可惜每个环节都比较平庸。

剧情的每一步推进都在意料之中，没有任何惊喜，恐怖氛围渲染的也不行，全片就靠几个屈指可数的跳吓来吓人，其余全部都是沉闷又无聊的剧情，一部恐怖片能拍的这么无聊也是一种能力，全片最恐怖的是女主这一家的家庭关系，这可能是一部披着恐怖外衣的现实题材电影
整部电影凝练紧凑，90分钟没有多余的场景和对话；小演员的表现非常出色，仿佛看到一个未来影后的诞生；结局有些生硬，但就像电影的每个情节设计一样，它的不可预测性让人感到惊讶。
芬兰迪库诺。导演说对她影响最大的电影是《小岛惊魂》，最喜欢的导演是黑泽明，本片有参考《ET》和《变蝇人》。
还蛮喜欢的，节奏很紧凑很精悍。母亲看似无意杀死孩子，但其实早就注定了，一切恶都来源于此。小女孩演技很棒。
