The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 我看不懂，但好美，喜欢所有的画面。晃动的镜头，跳舞的俱乐部，床上的两人，朋友死后的烟花，穿插的黑白叙述......工作没了，爱人走了，朋友死了，最后人总是要有家可回的。

文学性挺强，而且是当代文学。觉得男主角选的挺好，有点弱弱地帅。
三小时的体量终于能够承载一个超越故事本身的表达了，自传带来的厚重感无疑是对唐诺的最好回击。
最肮脏最阴暗的地方的人最清醒，光明世界里的美跟善一定要消逝于碧波之中，混乱与自由从来都无法达到纯粹。
没有旁白的时候这是非常好的一部电影，一些处理技巧有点太干扰了

全片充斥着碎片化但却温暖的情绪，事业、友情和爱情的不幸在导演的处理下都显得不太冷酷，试镜时的独白，les酒吧里和好友的轻轻一吻，咖啡馆对峙时女孩伴着Ombra Mai Fu落下的泪水，以及山雨欲来前返回家中和父母共享平静的幸福。
