The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 这部舞台剧层次非常丰富，大到人道主义，小到个人友情、爱情；从种族问题讲到女性、LGBT群体的社会接纳；有生离死别，也有相遇重逢。正如剧中所唱，一些东西失去了，另一些被建立起来了。

可能真的接受不了音乐剧吧，看得非常煎熬。看到20分钟开始边刷豆瓣边看，最后还是没坚持到结尾。不太喜欢里面的音乐和主题（哎，还是喜欢一些黑暗类主题），感觉就像看真人迪士尼，不过看得出来演员很卖力。
这是一部融合太多情感的剧，剧中有911大背景下每个人的焦灼与痛心，更有人与人之间相互依存取暖的温馨与感动。或许人与人之间的相互信任同协互助才是对恐怖主义最好的打击吧。
最感人的永远是陌生人的善意，最动人的永远是旅途中的意外。
表演很热情，很有生命力。
第一次感受到了舞台剧的震撼，这还是隔着屏幕的感受，在现场的话，非常幸福了！

在演出又被疫情取消的晚上看完了2020年因为疫情被取消的CFA。我真的太久没看过global视角+充满diversity的引进剧了…泪点很多，最戳我心的还是Me and the Sky。

911事件后一个偏远小镇接待了临时停靠的几千飞机乘客的故事。可怕的人祸和温暖的人情，疫情后看别有一番感受。最感动的是全部根据真实事件改编，片尾贴出演员和角色原型的合照，让人更相信这世界的温情。
太好哭了。不论来自哪里 情感还是所向披靡（天才大礼包这个戏是 情感浓度过高了呜哇————

可惜因为疫情错过了现场观看的机会 这个角度切入这个故事的改编 真的让人无法释怀
前边半个小时是零碎着看完的，所以感受不是很强，后面的部分，感觉慢慢好了。我觉得音乐蛮棒的，灯光运用也恰当好处，在有限场地上，人物的安排、运动都挺好。让我感触的不是所宣扬的人性善，而是人生的世事无常。相遇、离开，得到、失去，一切都变了，一切好像又没有变化。“Something's over, somthing's done, something's missing, something's changed, something's rearranged, something’s strained, something's lost, something's not”，所以我特别喜欢最后一切结束后那一段众人的表演。
二十年前从电视新闻的报道或身边同学瞎聊而有的经历，十年前的懵懂发芽，五年前才开始接触相关纪录片，二十年后新的故事一样。角度不错，随时都可以投屏再看，再看看。 in Mar-2022
优秀！怎么做到的又感人又温暖又好笑又启发的。纽芬兰，真是一个好好的地方。
就音乐而言，没有印象很深的（其实是被女机长的那段吸引来的，结果发现在全篇里篇幅就一小段……）
