The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 字幕一半靠猜，是中文，看懂了，但没有完全看懂，中文生肉😅
前面一个小时太啰嗦了，看的我都快放弃了，后面也一般，真个电影就10分钟战斗场面能看，其他都拉胯…

这么低的评分，不会就因为是毛子在里面暗示了美国人在幕后吧

铁汉柔情！男人有小家，更要为大家。最打动人心的是战争的血性和人文关怀紧密结合。在斯科佳血战沙场生死未卜的情况下，为了不让他身怀六甲的妻子接触到新闻中关于战场的报道而受刺激，军事指挥部精心布局，直到转危为安的时候让他们夫妻通上电话，报平安。穿插的叙述方式，将过去的美好与现实的痛苦不断切换，增加了痛苦的杀伤力。
真实事件改编，战斗场面还行，无用的叙事太久，删减半小时整体节奏会更紧凑些
虽然已经猜到亚历山大的行为，但是到了这一幕还是会泪目。
看完《彼得罗夫的流感》再看这片子，近些年，这个民族的某些精神又回来了🌟
只小男孩得知父亲牺牲，姐姐哭泣，勇敢的告诉姐姐出去安慰母亲一幕感人，几处打击恐怖分子精彩，故事讲得差！
哈哈，只有3分钟的立体军事打击燃，人设太雷人，男主尽然提前挂了，叙事也很随性
可能是对战争片不太感冒，所以没有get到它的点吧，其实主线支线穿插着还可以的，另外俄罗斯小姐姐是真的好看，特别对我的胃口咳咳
感觉还是前面特种兵那一小段战斗戏出彩，其他的一般般，有点拖沓～～～
老毛子的主旋律电影，现代战争部分还挺震撼的，最后就是用屠龙刀杀鸡，降维打击～
2022年的第一部电影 虽然今天是期盼落空 事与愿违 的新年第一天 但还是愿意相信 也肯定 会是 新的一年事事胜意 和老公会开心健康圆满顺利
军迷圈对这电影很是推崇。特种部队的作战镜头和飞机的战术飞行镜头比较少，但是很专业，毕竟这是英雄的主题。
