The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 故事里的他们操着各地的方言对话，恰似当年来自五湖四海的红军战士们因为战争而走到了一起。

场面一开始有些没看懂
确实如导演所说是一部“两边都不讨好”的电影
觉得是国内里程碑式的战争片，和以前那些完全不一样。在杜比影厅看到的画面好美，像是在水墨画里的战争。
反高清，细节消失在模糊中，模糊主义美学。除了核心事件，炸弹药库，其它包括人物、表演，随时随地陷入模糊。在电影院睁大眼睛看，只能看清这是一部电影，看不清是什么电影。

不受主旋律控制，不向商业妥协，不靠演员出彩，认真老实用视听语言做电影！用心！赞！
居安思危是永恒不变的真理，和平年代也需要我们传承和发扬革命精神。
老听朋友讲诗性战争电影，今天一看果然很诗性，不由得感慨战争片还能这么拍，像欣赏水墨画般就把电影看完了，挺进师的故事就像水墨画中的文字，自带中国式风骨，让人有二刷的冲动。
抛弃了所谓的正确，选择了真实世界中的每一个个体，正因为是这样，所以才让人格外有共鸣吧。
这部电影还行吧，时长感觉有点短，音效感觉还不错，情景也还行吧。
随便截屏都是一副超美的山水国画，质感绝绝子，战争的残酷也可以用含蓄的方式表达，娓娓道来也能让人印象深刻。
——新选组只有一个人，有勇有谋、有情有义、剑术高超、女人缘好。

从没想过战争题材也能和中国水墨画的质感结合的如此微妙，整一个被这部电影迷住了。
