The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 但你说这个故事反转惊艳吗？其实也不至于。只能说剧本挺巧妙的，却还是故弄玄虚的成分更多。

单一场景的悬疑故事，剧作上通常很难做到完全自恰的，必须要依靠巧合来推动叙事。剩下的就要看演员气场和魅力能不能给电影争取到足够的「电冰箱问题」了。（电冰箱问题就是观众在观影时并不会意识到故事逻辑有问题，等回家拉开电冰箱找饮料时，才会忽然意识到，这个故事有问题啊……）
中规中矩的传记电影，但依然令人感动。

好像真的是这样，就比如以前上学，每次考试快要写完一篇作文的时候总是会写错字，然后涂改。
这种单一场景的商业片，就像三件套西装的样式，人人都知道长什么样，不外乎人物进进出出，反转扮猪吃老虎，比的就是个手艺的精巧合身。这一点上，这片顶多算个合格的bespoke，没有Savile Row预期的惊艳感
