The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 不苦情、不沉重，大量的美式笑话让人忍俊不禁。但笑着看完，却哭着回忆，百老汇的这波美式正能量，我先干为敬。
好看，音乐和故事层层递进。从纽芬兰的角度讲述了911事件的过程。整部秀当中不乏突兀政治正确之处，但还是从整个应急事件中看到对人的尊重。
经常发现眼泪先于大脑感受到情感，或者情绪，我不懂。
不错！但感觉有点太像纪录片，卡司换角太快，一开始没能反应过来。

场景角色无缝衔接，太精致了。
仅仅拍摄完整的舞台演出，难道不是样板戏？除了时代所限，当年的蓝苹同志在这方面也做得不错了。只感觉是话剧，谁说歌舞片？跟比迪斯尼电影比起来，不过一锅清汤。歌舞起着渲染作用，并没有推动情节。故事只是讲911事件时迫降纽芬兰的多个航班，难道也是带着任务拍的？舞台上的演员有感染力，场景转换既快捷又流畅。然而，低调而艺术的表彰大会仍是表彰大会，看久一点就真没意思。[ZXZJ]

911导致飞机迫降，一大堆来自世界各地不同的语言、信仰、性向、饮食的陌生人被迫隔离封闭在一个小岛。导致的个体巨大的孤独、断层感，与世界割裂崩塌(虽然生活扔要继续)，失去一切被无力所吞噬，在困境中如同cosplay的异样。承受着同样的割裂与孤独的人们无法忍受新闻，走出家门为陌生人做点什么，用宽容与爱去对抗这一切的故事。

这部舞台剧层次非常丰富，大到人道主义，小到个人友情、爱情；从种族问题讲到女性、LGBT群体的社会接纳；有生离死别，也有相遇重逢。正如剧中所唱，一些东西失去了，另一些被建立起来了。
非常好看的精彩的舞台调度，演员们一人分尸多节，在角色中间的转换也特别棒，就是一切都很棒。
