The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 属于东亚人才能看懂的家庭关系电影，在文化与成长冲突的激流下，其实有着家庭里每个人彼此牵绊的感情在涌动。
算是给猎魔人第二季预热，总体水准不错，不过有些设定存在吃书，比如说维瑟米尔应该比凯尔·莫罕还要老，最后童年杰洛特满满的降世神通的形象
好棒！人物刻画、故事叙述、打斗场面，比龙之血好一些。
当母女三人对美国保持同样的回忆和幻想时，始终在暗处登场的父亲便自然成为了那个格格不入的陌生人。但有趣的是，芳仪的身体情绪得以激活与承接，正是通过这种陌生感实现，从学校老师惩戒，到被父亲打骂，随后出逃被马拒绝，这种陌生感被芳仪的身体内化，随即向外扩张，逐渐成为感知世界的某种入口。期间爆发的谩骂更像是一次次向外试探性地伸出双手，她在抱怨，在铭记，在用身体暗码叙述关于家庭和死亡的回忆。正如一匹马，天然或驯养，主动或被动，接受着外界的警告与触碰，然后头也不回地向某个方向奔跑。林嘉欣和方郁婷演得真好。
情感拿捏了 缺点就是篇幅有点短 适合做四五集那种短剧
视听部分没有什么惊喜，镜头的使用直白高效，故事层面体量不够，充盈着情绪却在转变上过于生硬，结尾戛然而止似乎导演故意终止于此处显得意味不明，整体还算工整。
结尾有点收的太快了，整体还是很好看的，打斗场景很精美，画风也不错。
這不比美劇好多了？我還以為會提到巫3拍賣會裡那位夫人呢。
魔物的横行、炼金术仕的走火入魔、斩杀魔物的猎魔人。
故事秉承了游戏系列的“大家都不是好东西”以及“没有完美的选择”的黑暗风格，但也算是保留了一些光明的线索以及一丝丝对角色命运和观众心灵的仁慈
我離國語片越來越遠了，我在想，真的是回不去了。從小在中式家庭裡遭受的那些打心底的痛苦，可能為的就是有一天終於可以把自己從父母/老師/同齡人的壓制之中抽出，無法再為他們這種鞭打式的溝通而共情。但我知道這衝突是很難講清楚的。林嘉欣扮演的媽媽很好，爸爸角色的爆發也很合理，以及，女兒並不是不懂事。雖然幾乎每個中式家庭的相處方式都是互相折磨，但他們的關係（在它劇情所設定的時期）尤其像被綁在一起受各種無法承受的苦。這太悲傷了。你怎麼要求他們明白彼此的需求？每個人都在尋找，都在忍耐。他們每個人都沒有錯，他們只是也只能抱在一起，絕望地找一個看不到出口。
3.5，真是不知道现在自己喜欢什么了）有几段情绪飙到失控边缘，一些细节的表达还是略显拼凑，但是大女儿真是演出了一种心事重重的女孩，这样的角色终于在近年华语世界里出现。看的这场没什么人，却一大半都哭出声音。
BGM恢宏大气，野蛮辽阔
打斗场面无可挑剔，作画精细，运镜流畅，血腥加成，巨爽无比，只是前半段叙事较为混乱，时间线跳脱，对于观看体验是有些减分的。 PS.说句题外话，永远也忘不了维瑟米尔在《巫师三》里的那句“Fly!”猎魔人的薪火相传，精神延续，可能就是在这种不断前赴后继保护下一代的进程中，得以永存的吧。 致敬，向每一位光明磊落的猎魔人。
战斗很帅，但剧情很赶。话说，白狼盖洛特小时候居然是光头，果然光头才是最强的
没怎么玩过游戏,画风感觉一般,尤其战斗场面没那么好看,但是片尾男主叫那个小和尚的名字时还是惊了一下
3.8这个作品的表演真的很糟糕，虽然这是美式动画的惯用表演方式，但是在这个复杂的巫师世界里如果有更加细腻的表演一定能够更加出彩。
打戏和音乐看得我浑身战栗狠狠爽到，剧情有点落入俗套但结尾还是和维瑟米尔一起流泪。最难以置信的是本利维亚牌王童年居然是光头？
