The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 电影本身拍摄手法一般，胜在真实事件改编&社会意义（种姓、阶级、贫富、金钱、权力），演技也不错。

套路不？套路！好看不？好看！还是根据真人真事改编的，服不服？

印度人的苦难不需要过多渲染, 诚实的展示出来就能直击人心
印度电影看过的并不多，除去歌舞剧情还算紧凑。除了多线叙事，内容没有想象中波折起伏。主角人物塑造扁平化，大量镜头语言和BGM烘托英雄形象。横向与韩国《辩护人》比较，这部电影并没有想象中的好。但是，真人真事改编，从中可以看出印度司法改革的努力。值得推荐。

真实改编是本片最值得夸耀的地方 民主法制的建立和斗士愤慨激昂的斗志是现代人权主义建立健全文明社会的核心价值 片子的剧情和剪辑很标准不花哨 虽然有些镜头有些年代感 但叙事节奏一直在线 人物塑造特点鲜明且工整 而最值得称赞的是一个民族值得承认错误的气度和勇气而不是欲盖弥彰
而律师处理事件的全过程毫无波澜，没收希望到失落，无助到转机的情绪切换，太平了。

拍摄手法一般，甚至很老套，难得的是这样的题材，而且还是在印度，再过10年中国也未必拍得出这种题材的电影。
从全局来看人权斗士可能永远不会完全胜利，但每一场个体的战役都是对生命价值的殊死捍卫。
