The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 改编自一百年前的真实事件。两个探险家为了找到格陵兰岛是一个整体岛屿的证据，深入北极腹地。经历千辛万苦证据找到了，可是返回集合地时，船没了，此时距离他们独自上路已经过去了两百多天。还好，船离开之前给他们留下了足够的食物。于是他们在原地等待获救，一等就又是六百多天。等待的过程比较平淡，除了船长精神分裂产生幻觉之外。整部电影都太平淡了，虽然改编自真实事件，但还是可以设计一些戏剧冲突强烈的桥段的，不然就会看得人昏昏欲睡。不够精彩。

相较于早年间mean girl式美式青春片性转版的外出就餐系列，这一部已经迈出了很大一部了，很多观点的挖掘和摊出很值得思考。
大厂还是没能沉下心来去拍一部同志爱情喜剧，拍得是肤浅且老套。都2022年了，当大厂拍爱情喜剧时，尽管是同志题材，依然还是那些沿用了几十年的常规套路，且也没拍出真挚动人的感觉，只让人觉得无聊。至于《傲慢与偏见》现代同志版这个创意，想法也ok，也拍出了傲慢和偏见，却没拍出内核，傲慢与偏见的内因是什么？无从探究，只有皮相。大厂无心去琢磨同志群体真实的困境与梦幻，只是为了欢乐而欢乐，为了抒情而抒情，像是程序里设定好的，几分几秒该做什么就给你什么，缺少了故事内部的强大驱动力，自然也就打动不了人。
抛开刻板印象不谈，我觉得这部电影本质就是新瓶装旧酒，核心就是两点，两对男主，一对是傲慢与偏见最终打破隔阂，一对是典型的小妞电影跨越了种种最后在一起。
