The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 作为法证类作品，逻辑性有所不足，部分角色行为不合理，减弱了故事性，法庭及推理论证部分不足，更多的是理想化的台词和主题思想，比起巅峰时期的TVB电视剧系列都有所不足，不是港片粉丝不建议观看。
反转有点突兀，拍摄手法很hktv，剧情设计又有点tvb，结尾强行说教也扣分，但是智叔的演技还是很值得加一星，方中信应该是蹭了当年《律政强人》的光再演大状吧，另外就是案发现场两位年轻演员的演技也真是一言难尽了
结局方中信大哥的发言实在是太官方了。前面都还ok，但是很多细节都缺失，看着不够过瘾。

老戏骨演得好，剧本麻麻地了，警察的角色太单薄，太突然。
当曾志威在法庭上狂躁发疯冲着他爸喊救他的时候，瞬间想到了九品芝麻官里常威在喊他那阴阳人烂pg的干爹！
噢对了，为了省500万掩盖证据，就开始当街见一个杀一个，什么年代了还有这么脑残的党魁！？
廖启智和曾江在船上的对手戏好爽！
10月。实际上，就真的挺无聊的，也挺离谱。
说好的公平正义……结果最后还是靠黑吃黑狗咬狗实现了公平正义……有点浪费这演员阵容啊……
思想性1.5+1.5，艺术性0.8+1+0.8+0.8+0.8，观赏性2+1✔最终还是得以虎制虎
少年时期的偶像方中信的剧都会看，现在还是好帅哦！正义永远不会缺席！

在本片中出现的黄金配角廖启智和曾江都已经去世了。
典型的hk擅长型商业题材类 并且能一直擅长下去的类型 差点忘记了是智叔的最后一部 没有新意没有悬疑没有惊喜 似乎已经猜透了这种由演员演技撑起来的剧情 但还是很受用
很久之前香港很多律师题材的影视，这么多年过去好像没什么长进
还能一看的粤语电影，前半剧情铺垫是不错的，可惜尾端转折过于理想，编上复杂的情节却只有简陋的细节。
TVB的叙事感，不过能再看一次廖叔同曾爷一面，点都加两星喇
