The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 米洛身患重病即将死去，为了不让妻子伤心，他请人克隆出一个健康的自己，向克隆人注入记忆，然后代替自己陪伴毫不知情的妻子。
真的一股苹果味，高级，政治正确，但也高级到无聊
今时今日如果再单纯讲述克隆人是独立个体——即便带着原型的全部记忆——已毫无新意，于是本片将这一并不新鲜的设定嫁接到了个体为家庭奉献的美国中产核心价值观上，拍出了新意。

《天鹅挽歌》，天鹅临死时的叫声是最凄美的。科幻的外壳包裹着一个普通人弥留之际的道德伦理困境，克隆范畴的哲学探讨并不罕见，于是导演冷不丁的倒灌了一碗鸡汤，用爱来解释一切。
