The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 本来以为只是讲性少数群体不被主流社会接受的悲哀以及形婚的困境，没想到还输出了女主的女权思想，以及非常真实地点明了男同男同首先他还是男，他还是奉行大男子主义那套价值观。真的非常棒。
但最后故事处理的很好
男主的妈妈，女主的爸爸，可能生命中，会有那么一个人，我们只要她/他的支持就好。

宝莱坞已经偷偷变强惊艳所有人了。只要坚定逆行，可嘲讽对象就只剩……了
不是单纯的那种剧情或者立意
最后的处理方式处理的极好
过于理想化的结局消解了题材的严肃性，但这本来也是商业喜剧，能拍已经让人很羡慕了
借热门短评：2018年才将同性恋去罪化的印度，2022年已经拍出直面有关形婚, 同性恋领养方面的电影了。
这部真的惊艳到我！lgbtq+领养问题诠释得非常精彩，虽然中间一度担心男女主角为孕变直。结尾男主邀请partner坐到身边还是有点感动。宝莱坞悄悄在变，我们呢？
