The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 连字幕都不加了，却还要他得到集体的认同？故事太老了。
制作表演各方面都有水准，不过这故事我实在是看不下去。
歌舞艺术表现力不错，男女主角的选择值得商榷。
几乎每个镜头的调度运镜构图打光都值得拿出来学习，但叙事极为乏味，音乐舞蹈也没什么吸引力，分三次勉强看完，我的DNA里没这个。
歌舞调度很好，可惜这个以《罗密欧与朱丽叶》为蓝本的故事最最需要的男女主角的个人魅力和化学反应约等于没有，而且两人身高十分不协调（充分说明所谓的“身高差”、“小鸟依人”过了头就是美学灾难），让整个故事根本站不住脚，男女主一见钟情就爱得死去活来的情节令人压根无法共情，看了只想翻白眼，最高潮部分男主死了也激不起什么情绪波澜。
这个世界！已经！不需要罗密欧与朱丽叶的故事了！两个半小时可算看完了，除了riff的帅脸和anita黄裙子america那场戏，其他部分都很煎熬。
美国古惑仔的歌舞片糅合了现今最受人唾弃的爱情主线，但都很失败。几乎人人在说史皮堡高超的调度，可能这是唯一的亮点，展现了黄金时代好莱坞的影子。
还有就是，导演拍得有些场景还是挺有新意的。

舞蹈设计、光影交错真的绝了，故事有些老套丢失了一些共情感，但也还看得下去
而对原作最大的继承，可能就是男女主一样糟糕的演技了吧。男女主轮流斗烂的演技，简直相映成趣，让本片还带上了一定的喜剧元素。看完只想给原版男女主道歉，不禁为正准备第一次看白雪公主的小朋友们担忧。

前半部分Jimmy O. Yang being Jimmy O. Yang的时候还是很有意思的，后半部分就是非常cheesy的圣诞电影了。片中故事发生在Lake Placid，美加边境的滑雪小镇，离我家就3小时车程，是我一直想去但是最后一刻总是放弃的小镇，希望边境重开后能去一次。

怎么说呢 女主有brain damage 而男主是恋爱脑。This story doesn't age well at all.
