The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 退隐的高手不得不重出江湖，颇有中国武侠之感
每當西部片中的少年變成了牛仔，男孩變成了男人，也就意味著可以結束了。簡單的故事無法抵銷對西部片的熾熱情懷。沒有女主但有女人。

好多影迷说是传统硬核西部片，但这明明是老无所依式的西部哀歌。当然，导演希望比利小子后继有人，而传统西部片能再现辉煌。
制作精良，剧情薄弱，细节欠缺，很传统的西部片
值个三星半把，放在今天有这样纯粹的西部片确实不易。但把它放在那些优秀的西部片里比较来看，就显得很平庸了。
几个演员，简单的剧本，不过节奏把握得很好，同类佳作

到今天2021年了还拍这种老派复古西部片，开头就知道结局。但我还是喜欢，这就够了
其他都不错，就是小孩太干净了！根本不像一个没了妈的农场孩子……更像流量小生乱入。枪战场面安排略微随意了一些……
老亨利是比利小子，最后击退来者，发现受伤男人手上的标志，原来是同伙，反被枪杀，儿子杀了受伤男人
