The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 原作有两个主角，电影砍掉了其中一个，只聚焦另一个，或许是出于篇幅的考虑，但也让思想性削弱了很多。作为名著改编，在影像上几乎没有什么令人惊艳的段落，而且大段的旁白让影片看上去又很像超长版的故事梗概。最大的价值大概是还算可以吸引观众去阅读原著吧。
拍巴尔扎克的作品真的很少见。里面还有多兰，开始还以为我认错了，不看身高的话颜值很打眼，而且演得挺不错啊。

拍得太直白了，禁不起咂摸，残酷的生存法则适用于个人命运和整个人类社会
人间喜剧，根据原著改编的很好，追名逐利的最后失去了很多，原来一切都是幻灭。
剧作干净的没有一点多余的水分 即使很早猜到结局也会很耐心的看下去 节奏和视听语言都很不错
人们都在追求着心中的美好，但太多的美丽事物只是丑陋的外套。

想去看原著 “妥协是永恒的” lucian毁灭之前关于权利地位金钱的幻想是怎么拍的？我怀疑是躺在滑轨上往前划，然后有好多群演在上面伸手做动作。
“停止幻想，开始生活。”傲慢的贵族对于渴望拥有贵族身份的人无疑是更加蔑视的。
前半部ascension sociale和肤浅的复仇令人反感，幻灭的下坡路开始后才显出一定深度。男女主演技不行，只能用毫无意义的大尺度裸戏来凑。最后才发现叙事者是Nathan. Marquise d'Espard的演员是个妙人。Lousteau选角也不错，不羁又市侩，大难临头也不忘戏谑。由旁白、画面和巴尔扎克撑起来的电影。关于评论界如何鸡蛋里挑骨头的那段讽刺不错。
他是下河洗干净呢，还是投水幻灭？很喜欢巴黎鳞次栉比的小剧场。
2个半小时完全不会无聊，过程很精彩，结局更加精彩华丽！！！

其实多兰演得不错，没有拿凯撒奖最佳男配很可惜。女配演男主老婆的有点弱。
