The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 荒诞故事，略二的设定和呈现……但讽刺也不够，近乎儿戏。。
导演童心犹存，但本片绝非灵感之作。立意流于平凡，美术实在简陋。想象也始终缺乏，成片终于勉强。是电视剧的话还可以原谅，电影质感从缺。仿佛是导演自己才华的宫殿ceiling上的一个“巨型漏洞。

设定烂剧情烂演员烂，随便一部科幻短片都能吊打他，这名导水平也太水了
非常喜欢，而且英语句式都特别好。什么些蠢蛋给了这么低的分。

这种英国片的调调真是太抓我了，真的太喜欢这群英国演员了。好多人说感情戏没有必要，我大胆猜测一下加上这段感情戏的原因吧：战争对于我们的影响，绝不仅仅止于战场之上，而是实实在在的就在我们身边。

导演对于科幻和现代社会的理解仍然停留在上世纪七八十年代，无法代入也就get不到笑点。
与传统意义上的战争片有点歧义，完全依赖情节突显，缺了份在视觉上战争片该有的场面感
