The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 丹泽尔·华盛顿儿子主演，他的表演与电影中所扮演的角色一样，满是厄运，非常糟糕，没有其父的犀利与身手，一张软弱的大众脸，窝窝囊囊，一无是处。导演的叙事亦是懒洋洋，漏洞百出。导演又强行加入了很多政治色彩，却又无力驾驭，更让影片雪上加霜。
是当今世界真实会发生的政治惊悚故事。只不过一个没接受过军事培训的平民，能够躲过追杀还用伤躯实现反杀，甚至跳崖跳楼都没事，大概是男主刚从信条片场穿越过来的吧。
攀岩追逐的场景设定有些新意，但剧情太单调、老套。
太惊险了，不过后半部分有些不现实的感觉。最一开始就不应该跟反社会人格出去攀岩，全搭进去了
5.5 好像有点意思，又没多大意思，作为“异乡人”的既视感倒是挺强烈的。

这种陷入阴谋的倒霉普通人冒险故事好像也没啥新鲜的，但是这些主角居然都挺能打。

由于不合理之处太多台词也很弱很想给导演编剧写女主纸条上的七个字母之感。

男租客的尬笑……演技太拉了………整个电影都很混乱
攀岩本身就带有足够的紧张感。不过这种感觉在两方开始对峙后停滞了。非常奇怪的是女主也随着无法移动变得没有作为，要不是几个反派自作孽，耗也能把女主耗死。
前期铺垫不够，人物的前因后果都没交代清楚，直接就进入高能了，娱乐气息浓厚，贞洁烈女在悬崖峭壁展开极地反杀，一人单挑四。成本很低，但效果不差。
“爱情是一种习惯，习惯结束了，生命也结束了。”这句话挺对的
紧张刺激，电影告诉我们：坏男人比毒蛇猛兽更可怕
20分钟弃，节奏太慢，前戏太长导致兴趣大减
还行，那个男的实在太坏太坏了，女主好漂亮，有个心地改可以的男生人挺不错的，但好可怜
