The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 这才是开心麻花的正常水平，蛤蛤蛤 其实就是这样，不是所有故事的结局都是好人打败了坏人和自己心爱的人幸福的生活一辈子，全程爆笑，多谢款待，楚门的世界兄弟篇，独门的世界。

3.5星。尬的地方太尬（比如袋鼠出现后的前40分钟），有些情节非常不科学不物理。然而开头和结尾的2分钟动画还不错（谁做的定格好可爱！），以及月面滑板+宇宙里的个人英雄主义太浪漫了我大声哭泣😭
视听很不错了，首尾的动画很好看，几首配乐很到位，喜剧感拉满，但就还是有挥之不去的舞台剧味道，很抱歉我不是这种麻花味喜剧电影的受众。
浪费了两个小时和几十块钱。队友表示“毫无逻辑”，我是无所谓逻辑好笑就行，问题是一点也不好笑啊。这就有点过分了。
有浩瀚宇宙的美和力量，也有爆梗让人哈哈一笑，二者结合的还算顺畅。是部看后让人心情大好的片子。
电影值得一看，典型的麻花式电影，有趣的设定+peace&love的主题，还有精彩的视觉呈现，很适合进电影院放松解压。这也是麻花电影总值得期待的“点”所在，幽默又温暖。含腾量很足，沈腾和金刚鼠贡献了最多的笑料，马丽这次的角色比较有反差感，呈现出很不一样的喜剧效果，常远、黄才伦等配角也很亮眼，整体观感不错。
但是对于开心麻花来说有点普通，笑点有点硬
切。。。果不出我所料，月盾计划、陨石撞击、地球废土科幻、全球直播、和袋鼠的插科打诨、观众的观看反应、维修工对指令长的爱恋……一通走马观花式地堆给观众，唯独跟“独行”没一点关系；至于喜剧，基本可以断定，开心麻花连它们过去引以为傲的小品式的搞笑手段也已经到了即将枯竭的地步。我们还嘲笑好莱坞缺乏原创只投上亿美金大IP，未来加点成本包装成大片整它个几十亿的不是容易得很，春节档那什么“不太冷静”的什么片都能26亿，这个我是丝毫不怀疑的。
好多经典金曲啊，《回家之路》《月光下的凤尾竹》《轻轻地告诉你》，还有一些原创歌曲也都好听到爆，配乐相当洗耳
没想到有一天看开心麻花看到热泪盈眶，在喜剧里看到了一些孤独看到了一些坚持，热血又温暖，疫情当下看到这样的一部电影真好啊。

虽然剧本有熟悉的影子例如《独立日》，但开心麻花的气质很浓，这部电影没想到是个bad ending，我觉得挺浪漫。
牺牲小我成全大我，故事内核没那么喜欢，但在开心麻花的电影里算还不错，加一星。
还可以，感觉不能带脑子，虽然说有科学顾问科幻顾问之类的😂但我感觉宇宙方面的好多还是好扯啊，要是缩短成1个半小时说不定好点
整个故事线非常完整，而且节奏非常明快，作为喜剧片真的很搞笑，最后大概就是，喜剧的内核是悲剧吧，然后上了点价值，也挺好的。
