The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 一個傻寶男人不聽聰明老婆勸結果毀一切的故事。不太討我喜呵呵
每场戏都像一个独立的单元，负责输出名场面并强化抓马和冲突，但这也直接导致整个电影就像一组排排好的病理切片，在一种跳跃式的叙事节奏下割裂地讲完了人尽皆知的故事。这或许是雷导本来的意图，把八卦秘辛变成连环画或者《知音》上的文章，看着没什么负担。可没有了做“GUCCI往事”的野心，又很野地讲完了一段野史，结果就反衬得豪华卡司中的每个人都用力过猛，近乎谄媚地展示给观众“看看我演得多像”，匠气却不能深入人心。

人物的行为动机没讲明白。比如女主，她一开始到底听到Gucci的姓才约他的还是真的有爱情？后来变得这么歇斯底里难道只是听信了pina的spell，难道没有现实的转折？两人之间的隔阂似乎也只表现在离间亲人和遇到paola，阶层、性格、行事方法的背离都讲得很浅。总之就挺乱的。Jared Leto没认出来，厉害了。
雷导想拍camp风的melodrama又没有100%commit。最后拍了个十分平庸又过长的四不像。
整个片的视角在靠近Ryan Murphy式的八点档肥皂剧与那种有些气势磅礴的“大厦倾倒”的商战片中不断摇摆，跟得累，也消化得累。全员吹飞的演绎看下来就对诠释Tom Ford的小哥意外感兴趣（讲真以后要是有专门项目，未曾不是有趣人选），Salma Hayek有说服感，其它人更像是在演小品；其中Lady Gaga一开始就应该接《美罪》第二季，电视剧的篇幅大概能允许她有更多篇幅和时间来思考诠释角色。它依然在每个部门都精心炮制着热闹与展示对话题探索下去的兴趣，但也亟待更统一、协调的节奏。

85岁高龄的太公还有那么稳定的画面叙事力和主题表现力真的是很牛的，想想连另一棵常青树伊斯特伍德都有点力不从心了，就很难能可贵了啊！Lady Gaga演技有质的飞跃，整体对这个行业的嘲讽力度也是很强了

导演：我也不知道故事是怎么发生的，反正结果就是这样这样这样，算命的没跟我说太细。
