The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 3.5属于意外惊喜之作，本来觉得又是什么没带入感镜头纯记录式的家庭生活方式展现…没想到最后几分钟还被震惊了，有想法啊这个导演～

色彩很漂亮，跑酷少年的童话青春恋物语。周末看了两个和美人鱼有关的电影，缘分啊！
艺术可以搞，但是没必要。这也不是艺术啊。一个“女性视角”的片子，毫无女性视角的视听/叙事。

长镜头不应该成为导演的遮羞布。看到平遥把奖项从山西出发给到这部，有些绝望，山西本地能否有新的、年轻的、大胆的、新的视角的电影出来被看到，我看不到希望。
好“酷”好“美”好“看”，霸权社制作技术杠杠滴，嗯，但也仅限于此了。
画面，作画，分镜，配乐都是顶级的。就是剧情挺抽象的，分割开每个段落其实都还不错，但是连贯在一起就让人觉得意义不明，脚本优秀一点的话其实是能封神的。
剧本真的拉胯……很多日本的点都有，但是铺垫得太少了，主角们刚见面没多久就开始互相拯救，属实是有些尴尬
