The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 保罗·托马斯·安德森2021年作品，复古怀旧的青春恋爱剧，有点《the last picture show》的感觉，只是一路顺畅到底，缺少了青春的遗憾与叛逆。

带孩子看的，我全程看手机，看完以后，6岁的女儿跟我说“有点幼稚”，6岁的孩子都嫌幼稚，那得有多幼稚？
★★★☆ 因為他是Paul Thomas Anderson，所以對他只是拍了一個互相反復拉扯的愛情故事有些失望，少了他獨此一家的危險又迷人的毀滅氣質，或許這是已經步入50歲的叛逆期吧，不過還好，還是已然可以認出是他，把針藏進了棉花糖裡，沒有對70年代洛杉磯盲目加上回憶濾鏡，對破碎與迷茫並為粉飾。好久沒看Sean Penn的作品了，差點忘了他曾經是我最愛的演員，久別重逢，他依然迷人。

反正看完了。
再平常不过的爱情故事。像是以男女主的爱情故事穿起来的一串短片集。结尾处库伯和萨弗迪的很棒。
就好比说是一个高级裁缝你让他去做娃娃
非常迷人的怀旧风格，奔跑的男女，相互触摸的赤诚，倒卖水床开弹球厅，最后两个人在电影院门口拥抱。非常任性和私人的故事，像是把过往的生活和随着时间流逝已经稍微错位的记忆融合在一起，到底是一个情感故事。
“我们可以选择爱，相信爱的魔法。”
PTA的风格依然迷人，视听剪辑还是强大，但对于这个故事还是接受无能。
虽然是个很好看的故事，但还是没明白为什么这个故事有存在的必要，导演到底想说什么
也不妨碍这部影片的特殊气质吸引到我
