The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 本人不是什么DC漫威粉，只是看个热闹，但这部确实没话说的好，音乐特别好，每个人都交代的不错，感觉海王稍稍弱了点，之前那部实在不行，这4个小时很值得，还有不是宽屏，刚看的时候我还以为电视机坏了呢😁
几乎无懈可击，简直就是超级英雄联盟类电影的教科书。气势恢宏。史诗般的将每个正义联盟成员的背景都简洁有力的介绍了，展现了一个联盟组建的合理过程。全篇非常流畅。非常逻辑化，理性化。联盟团体出动时都讲究先做好计划。按计划行事。尤其是最后。近一个小时的反击战中。协同作战打的是行云流水。而且能看得出。每一个成员都是必要的。
荒原狼连达克赛德的左膀右臂都算不上，打起来都这么费劲。不知道以后该怎么打达叔。
想起《人·鬼·情》。有不少那种至死不会忘记的神笔段落。中国人究竟有多苦，得将历史一遍一遍重述。
风格很独特，50-70年代那些情节很intense，很震撼。tuoer转着相机，突然世界安静了，那个镜头特别好。整部片都非常有巧思。最后死去的两派hwb太高明了
第一次看四小时的电影，还是在电影院一口气看完的，丝毫不觉得困倦和漫长。更阴沉更严肃，褪去了庸俗趣味，铺垫够足，剧情讲究，越看越燃，末尾大战不再马马虎虎匆匆了事，闪电侠不再是只会卖萌的小傻蛋，忘记院线版吧，这才是我想要的《正义联盟》！！！！！Jared Leto短短几分钟演绎的小丑勾魂摄魄，比《自杀小队》里出色太多了！郑凯的原子侠出奇的顺眼，戏份终于增多的丧钟直接让我看高潮了！全片数处缺点难忍：弱化了老爷的核心表现，慢镜滥用，配乐尴尬，女声呐喊反复出现，海王喝酒一段从白条纹的雄壮摇滚乐改成格外违和的抒情乐（扎导你没必要为了和院线版区分而改掉），最违和的当属闪电侠救人，夸张的慢镜加暧昧的情歌，全场都忍俊不禁了。（院线版就开头十分钟拍得好，尾灯选的《Everybody Knows》搭配一个没有超人的绝望世界让人屏息凝气）

Anthology Film Archives 为坦率而富有想象力的内容起立鼓掌
知道它有多来之不易，不忍打3星，这基本是一个导演的作品再创造过程，如美梦成真一般。虽然4小时确实够长，但该顾到的都顾到了，最关键还是铺垫了足够多的人物细节和情感，令角色更鲜活，画面也更庄严震撼。不过一定程度上放弃了传统电影的故事结构，更像是一本章回体的漫画，很多片段单领出来都绝佳，拥有足够明显的作者属性，合在一起就会顾此失彼。至少，近几年在对超英作品宏大叙事的追求上，扎导版《正义联盟》争取到了一席之地。
三个小时，我没有睡着，不管是画面还是细节，都心思满满，庆幸是在影院看的 不然我会错过一部好电影。
前两个小时时长塑造几个角色心路历程比较饱满，母盒来世今生算是讲明白。除了钢骨，闪电侠作用大很多，尤其是最后一幕大战中。达克赛德，火星猎人，卢瑟，都有出镜，以及梦境中黑化超人和海王之死，是想看的一部DC宇宙电影。
虚假的宏大深邃，虚假的历史建构，虚假的沉思，虚假的牺牲和献祭，虚假的凝重，虚假的强大，虚假的情感和符号，虚假的外敌，虚假地进行虚假的战争，虚假的人神与虚假的人。
6.8 比院线版优秀很多，网上尬黑的几点也是故意挑刺，后半段观感程度还是不错的。从钢骨和闪电侠的内容到莱托版小丑的戏份，这片子的剧情交代和铺垫才真正算完整了。可惜不足的地方也还是太多，扎克施耐德大肆使用慢镜头，甚至整个天堂岛之战全程慢速，在观感上大打折扣，即便是拆分成剧集也是过多了。慢镜头不是这么用的。而且蝙蝠侠依然在划水，有的地方还是好憨。不过总得来说，还是很希望能有续集。
看之前：四小时？太长了吧！看完后：没看够！（我爱死那个自带远古bgm的amazon女人了（the flash好可爱啊力挽狂澜！
虽然没有当初看《守望者》那般惊喜，但事实上也只有扎导能驾驭这样的黑暗史诗了。四小时版本宛若一首加长版后摇（或者说正常版），像人生一样大起大落，高潮迭起之后还能让人无尽怅然，没必要再苛求什么了吧？
3.5/5。本月最后一场在nyc的电影，这次雷暴还专门改了航班为了看一场，结果既没雷暴又还是期望过高。可以看出导演的野心，也很喜欢各种民俗和戏曲元素的叠加（唉，听到熟悉的戏曲还有点鼻酸，想外公了。）和四川话（字幕翻不出精髓啊），但我不是很喜欢整部电影给我的戏台感：虽然戏如人生，但以此来演绎人生和历史又会让我觉得出戏。像是儿时的一个梦，却总是和现实隔着一层帘布。同时男主的这个角色塑造也没能persuade me 他在戏曲上的成就，因为很显然这不是全片的focus。在知道它是众筹后还是不满意片中的戏曲训练，总觉得如果要展现丘福是一位如此杰出的丑角，这方面还是应该占比更多，否则就让我感到脱节和牵强了。另外真的很冗长，后半段略好。不过还是未来可期。(@anthology)
太冗长，视觉疲乏，很小儿科的故事偏偏搞的跟史诗似的，全程都是尿点，容易睡着。不推荐。JL这个项目就是糟糕的，再怎么拍都不好看，路就没铺好。
